SOME OF OUR RULES AND REGULATIONS

1.      All students are bound to be the in school compounds not later than 7.30 a.m. They should finish doing their morning duty by 7:50 a.m.
2.      All students must reports punctually for morning assembly by 7:50a.m afternoon assembly by 2:00 p.m. late comers will be punished.
3.      No student should absent him/herself from the morning devotion. Anybody who fails to turn up will be taken as a late comer.
4.      All students should respond immediately to the call of the bell whenever it is rung.
5.      No student should for one reason or the other, disobey the lawful orders of his Seniors/prefect
6.      No wearing of slippers of any type, the acceptable ones are brown sandals shoes (leather or brown) with white stocking.
7.      No student should take the law into his/her hands. A junior student must not fight or insult/ abuse a senior student. A senior student must not ill-treat his junior 
8.      There should be no fighting in the school premises or in the streets. Anybody found guilty of this offence will be reported for appropriate punishment.
9.      Jumping of fence attracts summary dismissal.
10. Noise and troublemakers should be reported by the class Captain to his or her class teacher.
11. Students should take care about their movements in the school premises. Those found in any suspicious place during or after school will be severely punished.
12. No student is allowed to go out of the class during school time without the excuse card: students should stay in their class-rooms and not on the VERANDER except during breaks. Nobody should go out of the school compound without the exeat which can be obtained from Vice principals. Students who must attend hospitals should obtain the appropriate exeat before they go. Loiterers will be punished.
13. Anyone who fails to do the punishment given by the prefect will be reported to the higher authority for further punishment.
14. All grievances should be made known to the school authority through the proper channels i.e. the students representative council.
15. Class captains should see that each student in the class does his morning pieces of work. In case of sweeping of the class each captain must make an immediate report to the class teacher in charge, if his class is left upswept.
16. Students should not wear transparent dresses, or paint their lips, finger and toes or wear any kind of chains or rings. Girls should not wear ear rings. Anyone contravening this rule will be sent back home after an appropriate punishment.
17. No student entertains or attends to any visitor during school hours except with the permission of the school authority.
18. All boys must be clean shaven. All must cut short their hair and finger nails. No student should wear any abnormal hair style.
19. No student should keep huge sum of money on him/her. Otherwise, nobody should be held responsible for the loss of such.
20. For academic excellence, student should see the Guidance/Counsellor for necessary guidance on their progress.
21. The medium of expression in the school is English Language. Erring student will be penalized.
22. The school library is always opened to students. When students in SSS1-3 have no lesson, they should go to the library to read.
23. Students’ parent/guidance or visitors should report at the office of the Vice-Principal (Admin.) for assistance.
24. Student should not take out their own chairs or those of other students except officially told to do so.
25. Students should drop litter in litter bins provided. Defaulters will be punished.
26. All Students must master the National and School Anthems and the Pledge.

ANGLICAN COMMERCIAL GRAMMAR SCHOOL, OSOGBO.

BRIEF HISTORY ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Anglican Commercial Grammar School is the oldest, biggest and highly reputable Secondary school in Olorunda Local Government of Osun State. The School was founded on 4th November, 1974. The Ministry of Education’s approval to open the School was conveyed in letter (Ministry of Education’s letter) Ref. No. C. 530/239/47 of 28th August, 1974. The Commissioner for Education then was Dr. Biyi Afonja under the Military Governorship of brigadier Oluwole Rotimi.
The first Principal was Mr. Benjamin Olusegun Olumuyiwa, B.A. Hons (English) 1967, T.C. 11A 1958.
